Description: Rare Jamaican pressing of MEET THE BEATLES. The record plays very well with some noise as befitting a loved original record. I bought the record at Record Plaza, Tropical Plaza in Kingston, Jamaica. It has been in my possession since I bought it except for a brief period when it was taken at a party before I recovered it again. The glue affixing the cover sheet to the front has dried and the cover underneath is exposed. (Dave Guard and the Whiskey Hill Singers) The sheet itself is not damaged otherwise. A name is written top middle. All edging is solid. No major issues with the vinyl with great shine though there are a few marks on both sides. These are not skips but the record has been played (and loved). The cover has no number to indicate where it was manufactured, but only the vinyl was pressed in Jamaica. Most likely by Federal in Kingston. The cover is American made. Does not have George Martin's name. This is an actual mono press. I have, in the past, seen stereo Jamaican copies but in looking for the last 20 odd years during frequent trips to the island I have never run across another available Jamaican Beatles pressing. Making it truly rare. I have listed the record despite wanting to keep it. Side A Matrix: T1-2047-T12 #2 (Triangle with IAM) Side B Matrix: T2-2047-P9 #2 (Triangle with IAM) I sell through Ebay's Global program.
