Beautiful 1914 Elgin 12 Size 7J Grade 301 Hunter Case Original Running Strong!

Also, please read my feedback and note that my BIN prices are usually under the selling point at end of auctions... this watch will look better in your hand than it does in the pics. This Elgin Grade 301, Model 2, hunter cased pocket watch is in great shape for its age and is running well. The clean nickel movement is a 7J with serial number '17364831', dating it to approx. 1914. The watch winds, sets [stem wind/stem set], runs well and is keeping good time, as it has been recently serviced. It is cased in a 'Wadsworth' 20 year warranted gold filled case with minimal surface scratches, but no visible plate wear. It is a triple hinged, double backed hunter. Case diameter is approx. 46.8mm. The single sunk porcelain dial has a sub second hand at 6 o'clock, Roman Numeral indices and is signed 'Elgin'. It has no visible chips or hairline cracks...it's fairly described as mint. The hands look crisp and original. The crystal is true glass and looks original and excellent as well. Overall, this is a top drawer example from a respected American company. It'd make a fine addition to any collection....you won't be disappointed!
