Fully Hallmarked London Date Letter g 1902By Charles & George Asprey London Excellent ConditionNo Monograms or personal messages Total Weight : 650 Grams Here we have this beautiful & impressive antique, large sterling silver jewellery / trinket box in the form of a table top chest of drawer Beautiful jewellery box standing on four decorated acanthus leaf cabriole legs, jewellery box is bow fronted with bow fronted drawer, a beautiful embossed sterling silver panel top with a beautiful open flora scroll / rim boarder.Stirling silver over wood Bow shaped wooden drawer, pulls out firmly with the aid of the wreath swing handle, the drawer interior is lined with a dark blue velvet, which does have some light marks, however the interior is original and very presentable. Made by one of the finest silversmiths in London ‘ASPREY ‘ and by this highly respected duo Charles & George Asprey. Full Hallmarks struck to the exterior of the side panel of the body and hallmarks to the drawer.Reads As CA.GA : Lion Passant : Leopards Head London Assay Office : Date Letter g 1902.
