Beautiful Solid Wood Treasure Box – Hinged Carved Lid – 1987

Description: Offered here is this Beautiful Solid Wood Treasure Box. It is in good condition and is made of solid wood with a hinged lid that is beautifully and ornately carved. The lid is unfortunately beginning to split horizontally down the middle, and the split runs all the way across the lid but does not go all the way through from the inside to the outside. It appears to only be as deep as the top layer of the wood. The box is dated 1987 on the bottom tag, which appears to be written in Russian. I am unsure of its exact origins. The box is 3.5” tall, 2” deep, 11.75” long and 4.75” wide. It is a beautiful vintage wooden treasure box and has gorgeous hand carved details on it. It is a nice collectible piece that would be a lovely decorative item in your home as well.
