Description: This is a beautiful footed porcelain dresser box made by Wave Crest, The C. F. Monroe Company (see close-up for mark). The box has raised relief patterns and is hand painted on the top and sides. There is a brass curved piece opposite the hinge that looks like it may have held something?? It is in good condition for its age with no chips or cracks in the porcelain, but does have some small stress cracks on the inside brass near the hinge, which is quite common on these boxes.
