Begonia Lukuana

Description: Super awesome begonia species! This begonia has a semi-tuberous habit making large thick underground woody pieces that allow it to survive periods of dryness and cold in the winter, and grows above stem tall canes similar to an “angel wing” begonia. The leaves are extremely iridescent but impossible to capture a photo of. Can grow to be quite large, is hands down the easiest begonia species I grow. Originally grown from seed these are very old established seedlings ready for a new home! All plants are well rooted starts, no cuttings and no freshly potted plants. They are established in their pots. Pots are 3.5” unless otherwise marked. Plants will ship in their pots unless otherwise noted in description above. I ship plants the following Monday or Tuesday after the auction finishes. If you purchase a plant with a set price, it will ship the following Monday or Tuesday after the purchase is confirmed. I cannot be held responsible for heat damage due to extreme weather; if you believe it is too hot for plants to sit in their boxes on the trucks, then go with your instincts and do not order. If you would like me to hold a plant until weather improves I am happy to do so. All plants are grown here in the US by me, no imports or mass produced individuals. All plants are grown in regular household conditions, no fancy tanks or bins or anything like that, so they should be well acclimated to growing in your home. Please be advised of extreme weather; hot or cold. Plants in boxes can only survive so much and it is the buyers responsibility to keep in mind the temperatures in their area. I general do not accept returns or refunds; as these are live organisms being sent through the mail.
