The other amazing thing is that the antenna is complete and not bent or broken and it’s a working world time zone radio, which are very handy to have especially in times like right now as this hurricane bears down on us in Florida at this moment while I’m listing this, there are scuffs you can see in the radio clearly and one very small missing screw. I am selling this for parts, but this is a fully functional radio that if you want to listen to world news, this is perfect or you could attempt to find another one that is rusted on the inside and swap the plastic bodies as well as the battery hatch cover and then you would have a mint condition radio for very little money and probably 30 minutes of your time to swap everything over. This is honestly the very cheapest and best method to obtain Radios and collectible such as this On the back of the case it says No.A39/1842 This radio uses two AA batteries and it was truly delightful to see it immediately come on with all of the buttons and tuning knobs functioning correctly as they should. I’m going to try to zoom in on some more of the damage so that you can see what I’m talking about and I would recommend that you find another radio that’s burned out but has a good case and simply swap the parts over in 30 minutes. This radio is being sold as is. I am not amazon and I do not accept returns so please be confident that you do want to buy this before bidding people buy things in this generation and just constantly want to return them for no reason and for a small seller like me, wasting all that money on shipping put me out of business and on the verge of stopping my eBay sales. It really impacts the seller when people try to return items even when you have a no item return policy. It doesn’t hurt a big corporation as much but for a father and husband, trying to make new friends on eBay and sell items at a very low profit rate and a lot of consignment. It really hurts to get stuck with paying shipping both ways. Someone simply doesn’t want something anymore. If you’re that type of person, please do not ever bid on my merchandise and whenever this happens, I immediately block that person from ever bidding on my items again and I also notify 10 of thousands of other eBay sellers so that they can also exclude them from destroying their company. It’s really not worth it dealing with people like this. I make genuine friends and people I consider family on eBay every day.I take people fishing for free when they come to my state and they might have bought something from me a year ago but it’s really fun to make positive relationships. It’s not fun dealing with buyers that just want to play games. If you really want and need this radio badly and you don’t want to risk someone else winning it in the full 10 day auction or somebody else making me an offer that I would accept to close the auction early. I highly suggest you make me a good offer because, if the offer is right, I will sell it to you without going through the entire auction procedure. A buyer myself 99% of what I buy is making offers. I do not want to waste time of going through the entire auction procedure just to try to save a dollar And then end up losing someone else. I’ve lost too many things because of this so now I always make offers immediately, Please make good offers because I know if this sits on eBay for the full 10 days electronics in the world radio as well as the antenna, etc. Are worth quite a bit of money. I’ve had people pay me up to a couple hundred dollars for just working electronics. Without even the plastic case or anything else. Just the basic electronics can easily bring that. Consider that I’m giving you the case for free so it will be easier for you to the radio over to a mint condition case which that is the easy part of this. Many times it’s the electronics that are fried so the value is in the working unit that you can use right now with two AA batteries. If you are not a serious collector and just want a working radio, simply superglue the plastic back together and you can be worry free. But most people searching for these radios are after them for their high collectible and vintage value.
