This is for the "New Style" Bernina machines only, the current machines being sold and any newer machine that requires the little square cut out on the back of the top of the foot. Bernina has many videos online for how to use their many feet. As you probably are aware, coded feet are usable on all the New Style Berninas, whether they take advantage of this feature or not.
