On May 7, 1945, Nazi Germany surrendered to the Allies in Reims, France, ending World War II in Europe. The Instrument of Surrender was signed by General Alfred Jodl, Chief of Staff of the German Army, and other officials. The surrender required German forces to stop all active operations at 11 PM Central European time on May 8, and prohibited the scuttling of any ships, vessels, or aircraft. The surrender of Nazi Germany marked the end of the deadliest conflict in European history, but fighting continued in the Pacific. Very good condition.
