Description: Description: Betadine Solution, 5% is an antiseptic microbicide containing povidone iodine to prevent bacterial infections. Use for pre-operative prepping of skin and mucous membranes or post-operative application to surgical incisions. Can also be used a emergency antiseptics of minor lacerations, abrasions and burns. Features: Antiseptic microbicide Helps reduce bacteria Reduces risk of skin infection Preoperative prep Supplied as a 1 gallon Directions: Clean the operative site prior to surgery. Apply product and allow to dry. May be covered with a bandage. Cautions: Do not use in the eyes or if you are allergic to povidone-iodine or any other ingredient in this preparation. Stop use and consult physician if irritation, sensitization or allergic reaction occurs and lasts for 72 hours. These may be signs of a serious condition. Keep out of reach of children. Storage: Store at 25°C (77°F); excursions permitted between 15°-30° C (59°-86°F). Store in original container. Restrictions: Cannot ship to Canada, inquire regarding restrictions to other countries.
