Description: Beveled Diamond and Star cruet OS Tarentum Glass Company circa 1898 EAPG.AKA (Diamond Prisms; Albany) The glass is clear and any colors you see in the photographs are reflections from indoors where I photographed the piece. The cruet has the mold marks and straw marks and bubbles common in this era of glassware. Manufactured in a four-part mold. Very nice color and clarity and impression from the mold is crisp. The inside of the neck is rough where the original stopper stopper sits. The flattened diamonds in the middle of the X motif show wear at mold lines. There is a tool mark on the rim above the neck. The base shows wear consistent with age and there is pontil mark made in manufacturing. Please email with questions or comments. Weight before packing 13.60 oz.
