It has been a challenge as different Bible versions are slightly various about the gems in the breast-piece and even scholars are uncertain of the blue color of the over-tunic (robe), and I am limited by what fabric is available these days! This Bible era costume includes a 100% polyester white tunic, a 100% polyester medium blue over-tunic (robe) with bells and tiny pomegranates hand-sewn on the front hemline, a beautiful brocade blue and gold ephod featuring red ribbons with attached breast-piece with 12 gems symbolizing the 12 tribes and 2 shoulder gemstones, a purple satin tie belt with luxurious gold fringe, and a white turban-look hat (adjustable size) with a gold front-piece and a blue ribbon. Brocade is a delicate fabric, always handle with care. The white tunic is washable, gentle, with like colors. Everything else is spot clean ONLY. The loose-fitting tunic is about 56 and 1/2 inches long from shoulder to hem and ample enough for a 43 inch chest!! The costume is not flame retardant. Comes from a smoke-free home.
