Makaha Beach, one of the places they have surfing contests every year, was just down the street from us, a wonderful place to sit with a glass of wine and watch the sunsets every night, and between than and wandering on that beach finding sunrise shells? Absolute heaven! And just down the street from Makaha was Pokai Bay, a protected stretch of water that was totally shocking to me, because remember, before Kapolei, I had never found a leopardus cone before. But now---here was a beach where you could find them and a host of other shells within 10 feet of shore in shallow water, WOW!. Anyhow, as the video shows, this is a nice sized, almost GEM leopard cone with a slightly worn spire, a very nice shell with a smooth body, a beautiful lip, and was found live by yours truly at Pokai Bay in six feet of water, another great place to go snorkeling at, and is another terrific Hawaiian beauty that will look fantastic sitting on your shelf! The perfect shell for a first-class collection. As for normal disclaimers, we do the best we can with photos, but color is tricky, especially since cell phone cameras automatically lean towards flesh-tone coloring, (that's why so many of the photos of shells on eBay show up with more orange than is really there, the camera changes the color, and damm if I can figure out how to stop that from happening, but I try, honest!As for feedback, as your know, sellers live and die by the feedback you leaved, (please leave fives!) so if you have a problem, just let me know!
