It is from the Anna Shale Formation in the Gateway Mine Sparta, Illinois. This piece is WAY nicer in person, its really difficult to get all of the true colors and detail to show up in the photos. The overall crystal measures a nice! 12.7cm or 5 1/16" at its biggest! Please note that it came out of the Earth in two or more pieces and it was repaired! A display STAND is included.
