HIS BEST SEASON WAS IN 1934, WHEN HE BATTED .321-- LED THE AMERICAN LEAGUE IN STOLEN BASES 3 TIMES---- WAS A WORLD SERIES CHAMPION IN 1940-- IS A MEMBER OF THE CINCINNATI REDS HALL OF FAME.
