Description: Very rare black-painted collapsible Leica Summicron 5cm f/2 lens with L39 Leica thread mount. This does not seem to be the original Leica factory-painted Summicron, but the quality of the paint finish is very high and looks like it was done by the Kanto Camera. The lens is overall in near mint condition. The glass is clean and clear with no scratches, virtually no other marks, no haze, no fungus, few tiny dust particles inside. Aperture works properly with no oil on blades. The lens collapses and extends with no issues, and focusing ring rotates easily and smoothly, only slightly more noisy than normal. Cosmetically it looks near mint as well with no scratches or dents, only some microscopic signs of paint wear along the edges. It comes with both caps, as shown.
