Description: This is the original (1sh) R-1970 movie poster BLOOD LUST/BLOOD MANIA. This is not a reprint nor a reproduction. It was issued when the movie was released by Crown International in 1970 to promote the film as part of a double feature. The movie stars Peter Carpenter, Maria De Aragon, Vicki Peters, Reagan Wilson, Alex Rocco, and Jacqueline Dalya. It was directed by Robert Vincent O'Neill. It is an unrestored, Flat Folded poster measuring 27" x 41". Most original movie posters pre 1985 are Folded. This is not considered a flaw. This original movie poster is graded C8.5 (Very Fine to Near Mint). Original movie posters are graded, from the top down, as: C10 (Mint), C9 (Near Mint), C8 (Very Fine or Excellent), C7 (Fine to Very Fine), C6 (Fine or Very Good), C5 (Good to Very Good), etc. It is difficult to find any original movie posters pre 1985 in C10 (Mint) condition. This poster is ready for immediate framing and display. The lack of any vertical folds adds to the unobstructed view of the poster's graphic images and is something not often seen in original movie posters that are folded. This poster represents the 1960s and 70s B-movie type horrors films, which were at their peak during that period. To add some perspective to the double feature, BLOOD LUST is a 1961 horror film about a group of young adults who visit a tropical island only to become prey for a sadistic hunter, who hunts both animals and humans. Filmed in 1959 and released in 1961, the feature was picked up for cinema release by Crown International Pictures and re-released as a double feature with BLOOD MANIA in 1970. A definite keeper for any serious collector of B-movie horror films, especially in its almost Near Mint condition !!
