In 1983 Edward Marshall Boehm Studio presented the Hamilton Collection of 8 Boehm Roses of Distinction. The flowers are fine porcelain. The leaves are bronze made from the original leaf. There was only 9,800 of this collection made. Edward Marshall Boehm, considered the greatest American decline porcelain artist who ever lived, established his studio in 1950. Since then, the Boehm Studio had become renowned for its peerless porcelain art. Among it's famed creations are incredibly delicate porcelain roses. So admired are Boehm works of art that Presidents have seen fit to offer them as symbols of American friendship in important international relationships. The Roses of Distinction Collection is to be especially prized, for Edward Marshall Boehm himself had an exceptional love of this most celebrated of all flowers.
