Description: This listing is for the following three games:Bomberman Max Blue Champion (Japanese, GameBoy Color)Bomberman Max Red Challenger (Japanese, GameBoy Color)Bomberman Max Ain (Japanese, GameBoy Color) All of the text in these games is written in Japanese. They can still run in GBC/GBA systems from other countries. I bought each of these used from different sellers in Japan many years ago, probably around 2009/2010. The copies of Max Blue Champion and Max Red Challenger are pretty common, but the copy of Ain is pretty rare. The copy of Max Blue Champion has some problems running. The golden area that makes contact with your system when inserting the cartridge is very worn out from being played so many times. It does run and save normally once you manage to launch it, but you will probably always have to insert it and remove it a few times to get it working properly. The copies of Max Red Challenger and Max Ain seem to run normally. The batteries have been modified and an adapter has been installed, meaning that you do not need to solder anything when the batteries dry out, you will just need to replace them with some normal non-tabbed CR1616 batteries. These cartridges function and save normally even with the battery modifications. The batteries are held quite firmly in place by the adapter and there is no chance of them coming loose by accident. Comes installed with new high-quality Swiss made batteries from Renata. Notes for replacing the battery: -The battery adapter is a bit finicky when inserting or removing a battery and it needs to be handled gently. You need to push at least two adjacent tabs off the top of the battery before pulling the battery upwards. I would suggest starting with the top tab and the right side tab, then slowly remove the battery. When inserting a new battery, I would suggest starting with the left side tab and bottom tab, then slowly press the battery into place. -There is a Y-shaped prong underneath the battery that the battery needs to rest on top of, and there is a flat prong located between the top tab and the left tab that needs to make contact with the side of the battery. The positive (+) side of the battery needs to face upwards. All of my items ship from a smoke-free home.
