Description: Boston Terrier Bulldog Figural Barware Vintage Bottle opener c1940's wonderful detailed hand carved wood original patina. A wonderful example of figural 1940's barware. The figural is highly detailed and as these were hand-carved, each is unique. Condition is very good for an 84 year old vintage utility item and the minor rubs and wear only add to its charm. There are no breaks nor pieces missing and it is original with no repairs. As can be seen in the photos, there is the expected slight corrosion to the metal bottle cap opener expected for the age, we left it as is for the new owner rather than buffing it out. The fitting is solid and the entire piece is in excellent mechanical condition without any loosening. Add this wonderful figural vintage barware to your collection or gift to a friend or loved one.
