Description: Brahms Mount was founded by Claudia Brahms and Noel Mount in Monmouth, Maine in 1983, and has always employed local artisans who use antique shuttle looms to weave blankets from the finest natural fibers and eco-friendly dyes. In 2022, Brahms Mount was acquired by Faribault Mill, a well-known woolens manufacturer established in 1865 and based in Minnesota, and under this partnership Brahms Mount continues to produce their exquisite blankets using natural materials. This blanket was purchased several years ago and used rarely, but it is one of the Brahms Mount blankets produced on the original, antique shuttle looms. It is 100% cotton and is off-white in color, and in perfect condition. It has been laundered prior to being placed on Ebay. The blanket measures 90" long by 96" wide, and has its original tags. This is definitely an heirloom piece and it will be enjoyed for generations.
