It also depicts a man with a bow and arrow, a man wearing a hat, and a naked youth as seen from a monument at the Municipal Theatre in Sao Paulo which illustrates the three obras of Antonio Carlos Gomes O Guarani, Salvador Rosa, and O Escravo. On the banknotes reverse are a crowned shield, a grand piano, and a statue of a seated Carlos Gomes found in Sao Paulo. The 140 x 65 mm banknote bears a tuning fork as its registration device. It also has a solid security thread and a watermark that shows the head of Republica. The Brazil 5,000 Cruzeiros bears the signatures of Paulo Roberto Haddad and Gustavo Jorge Laboissiere Loyola.
