Description: Bridgeport Hardware Manufacturing (or BHM for brevity) started business in the 1890s and made a wide variety of tools and in the early to mid 20th century was a successful enough to warrant it use as a contract manufacturer. One unusual quality of some of their tools was the use of a Nickel-Molybdenum alloy. In early 1960s the company was acquired by Crescent Niagara. This Wrench bears the patent number (97325, 1935) for the Wrench which the inventor, Harry B. Curtis identified as; “The ornamental design for a wrench”. The design enables identification and dating. One the opposite side of Wrench, “U.S.A. Nickel Molybdenum” is stamped on the two stylishly raised panels. The Wrench shows its nearly 100 year age, but there is no evidence of abuse or misuse. It is both Straight and true to its manufacturing specifications. It would work well as an everyday-use tool and fit nicely in a show-and-tell collection or accumulation! We will ship the Wrench by USPS 1st Class Mail on the next regular business day following receipt of payment.
