Description: British Hand Enameled Purple & Orange Floral Tea Bowl & Saucer C. 1820 -1840s Antique British soft paste porcelain / bone china tea bowl /handle-less tea cup and saucer. Nicely decorated with hand painted overglaze enamel purple, yellow, and red floral designs. Unmarked. Circa 1820 - 1840s. Has crazing typical of British bone china and some staining of the type that may soak out to the inside of the cup, but no chips or cracks. Cup measures approximately 3 1/2 inches wide x 2 3/8 inches tall. Saucer measures approximately 5 1/8 inches wide.
