Description: British Liverpool L'amour Pattern Transferware Watteau Scene Coffee Cup C. 1765 Nice antique mid 18th century British porcelain coffee cup. Decorated on one scene with the transfer scene L'Amour. Decorated on the other side with a Greek Revival manor house. This does not appear to match the Worcester examples and the handle does not seem to match the Worcester cups. Possibly Liverpool. Circa 1765. Has some some flakes along the lip, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 3 inches wide including the handle x 2 1/2 inches tall.
