Neat old bayonet from The Great War, made by Wilkinson Sword Company. Carbon steel blade and guard, wood handles attached to tang with screws and threaded rivets. I am guessing it was carried, probably never used during the war but perhaps afterward for some mundane purpose, may have been cleaned a long time ago. There is some rust on it. Needs cleaning and re-sharpening, or not if wanted for display or collection. No scabbard when I found this one. See pictures. Stamped on one side with crown over "1907 / 8 18 / WILKINSON / PALL MALL." Other side has proof marks as shown. Measures 21-7/8" overall, 17-1/8" from tip to guard.
