Description: Brock Chanticleer Rooster Oil and Vinegar Cruets Up for sale is an oil cruet and a vinegar cruet in the quintessential mid-century Chanticleer Rooster pattern by Brock of California. These are quite rare. In fact, I couldn't find them listed at Replacements under this pattern so I contacted Replacements and after some back and forth with them, including sending them these pictures, they added the cruets to their list of known Chanticleer Rooster pieces. These are identical except for the cursive "Oil" and "Vinegar" on the cruets. They stand 5" tall and are in great shape, with no chips or cracks, or signs of wear. There are some manufacturing glaze issues, as is common on china. The most noticeable are a few places on the top of one of the stoppers where the brown paint didn't quite cover everything before it was glazed. In one of the photographs you see a few white specks. These are glazed over and smooth with the rest the top, so the stopper came this way from Brock. These are really cute little specialty items for anyone who collects the Chantilcleer Rooster pattern.
