Description: A species plant that Dr. Robert Read obtained from Burle-Marx in the 1970's but never described. The large petals suggest sub-genus Longipetalopsis and both Gary Hendrix and Bob Worth suggest Diamantinensis (now Bahiana) as in Leme's Bromeliads in Brazilian Wilderness. Must have to the Bromeliad collector! This listing is for a beautifully developed, Neoregelia Bob Read offset not shown in pictures (1/3 size of adult plant). This is a small specie. Ships USPS Priority Mail, NO pot or soil, it may or may not have roots. The Bromeliads will be perfectly fine through transit, however, we recommend you shower and plant or mount upon arrival.
