This little girl was named Rhonda Thomas and her first pair of shoes were a pair of adorable ankle bootlets that must have been very fancy for the time with their three button closures. How much fun these must have been for Mommy to have had to put on squirming toes. They sit atop weighted ceramic bookends painted black and trimmed in bronze with a ornate design. Burgundy felt on bottom looks brand new. Dated 9-26-57.
