Description: Vintage ceramic souvenir building bank of the old Brown & Bigelow building in St. Paul, Minnesota that served as the headquarters of the company from 1914 to 1980. Brown & Bigelow, in business since 1896, is one of America's largest promotional products advertising companies. This souvenir building bank dates from the 1950's and was made in Japan. It is made of hand-painted glazed ceramic in white with green trim. Above the columns in front it reads "THE HOUSE OF QUALITY - BROWN & BIGELOW". The coin slot is on the top and the trap is on the bottom with a round plastic plug. There's also part of the original sticker that read "JAPAN". The bank stands 3" tall on a 4" by 2.5" base. It's in very good shape with no cracks and 1 small corner and one small edge chip. See photos. A fine addition to your still bank, advertising or building collection, and a priceless collectible for any Brown & Bigelow employee.
