Description: Bowls are perfect for soup and chilli!! They are just the right size for a hardy serving and in the case of onion soup where you have to put them in the oven to melt cheese, they work perfectly! There is a small hole under the handle and if put in the dishwasher it fills with water. I suggest washing these bowls by hand, and not submerging under water.I believe that the hole is there due to expansion when the bowl is heated. If you find the need to soak, just put hot water in the bowls, and set aside until you wash them. All bowls could use a quick wash.I only wipe items down for photos. I leave washing/ proper cleaning up to buyer.One of the purple ones shows some residue on the bowl (view in attachments).
