This model is probably the best intermediate clarinet on the market for many reasons, such as high quality Grenadilla wood they are manufactured from. However, what really sets these clarinets apart is the overall design refined by Buffet over the years, with its poly-cylindrical bore and undercut tone holes, and especially the excellent quality and ergonomic design of the nickel plated key work that provides greater stability and precision, unmatched when compared with other intermediate clarinets. All these technical advantages as well as the great quality of the fabrication, produces a clarinet which is easy to play in all registers and that has a deep resonant sound, improved tone and finest balanced projection. It is not surprising therefore that for years these clarinets have been highly regarded and recommended by music educators as the model to buy for an advancing student.
