Description: Mi Amigo, A Novel of the Southwest by W. R. Burnett. Published by Alfred A. Knopf, Inc., New York, 1959. Very good plus first edition book in very good minus dust jacket. Board spine is sunned; spine edges are lightly rubbed as are upper and lower edges. Book is internally clean and text block is tight. Dust jacket is soiled overall. Jacket spine is sunned and has a small round stain near the title. Fore-edge folds and upper and lower outermost edges are sunned, jacket folds are creased. Head and tail of jacket spine are chipped and rubbed with loss on the corners. Front fold on spine has a 3 1/4" closed vertical tear beginning at the head. Back spine fold has a 1/2" closed vertical tear along the lower corner. Front jacket panel has a 1" closed vertical tear near the upper left corner; a 2 1/16" closed vertical tear along the upper right fore-edge fold and a 1/2" closed diagonal tear on the lower right fore-edge fold. Fore-edge corners are rubbed with a minimal amount of loss. Price has been marked out on the front inside flap but price of $3.50 is visible. Please use close-up options for best inspection.
