Ferro Rod 1/2” Diameter Bushcraft Ferrocerium Rod With Hardwood Handle & Striker

Description: Designed and handcrafted in USA. Included in this listing One 1/2” diameter Ferrocerium rod ash wood handle One sheep’s foot style carbon Steel striker made from a vintage file. The ferro rod handle has a 1/4 inch Lanyard hole with brass sleeve. Ferro rod is secured to the handle with a bronze pin and epoxy.  Finish on the ferro handle two coats of boiled linseed oil then buffed with paste wax. A Sharp 90 degree angle Edge has been ground onto one side of the striker. The striker will scrape copious amounts of hot metal off any ferrocerium rod.
