The title is “Naomi and Her Daughters in Law” and is attributed to Samuel Alcock (1799-1848). The scene on the pitcher was taken from a painting by Henry Nelson O’Neil and is based on the biblical story of Ruth. The pitcher measures approximately 9” tall. The lid is pewter.
