An early baseball broadside advertising two games for Philmont playing the Mohawk Colored Giants on June 11 and the Kingston Home Leaders on the 14th. The dates can be narrowed down to either 1914 or 1931. While the date is unconfirmed, the paper and font suggest to us that the broadside was likely published in 1914. Philmont played from 1898 to 1938 and fielded future major league player Claude Rossman. The Mohawk Colored Giants of Schenectady were an independent professional Negro League baseball teams that played from 1913 to 1943.
