The last photo is for information only, showing a title page from the volume. A splendid panoramic view of Edinburgh, with The Law (North Berwick) and the Bass Rock just visible in the distance. Many of Edinburgh's sites can be see, and a train is travelling below on the newly-constructed railway. "Scotland Delineated", (issued with a text by John Parker Lawson) is a particularly fine record of Scotland in the mid-19th century, the work using art by some notable artists of the time, including William Leighton Leitch and David Roberts (who drew this print).
