Photo marked Andvord, Christiania, Eneret Norge Fotografi AF Axel Lindahl. Axel Theodor Lindahl (1842-1906) was a Swedish photographer notable for his early photography of Norwegian landscapes. Unlike many of his contemporary photographers who emphasized the dramatic nature of Norwegian landscapes, Lindahl sought in his composition the harmonious aesthetic of his subject matter. He did is work in Norway from 1875-1896. Photo measures 6.5" x 9" and is mounted on stiff card that measures 9" x 12" There is some mild rubbing wear to edges of card.
