Description: This beautiful salad plate measures 7 7/8" and is embossed with a lovely floral patter and finished with hand painted color additions of blue, pink and yellow on the lovely roses and leaves. This plate has a scalloped edge that was gold trimmed but most of that has with age worn away. The plate is stamped Carlsbad China Austria 15 on the back. This plate was made before WWI. There is a hairline crack on the back by the stamp. Please see photos regarding this. I do see a small line on the reverse side of plate. This plate is approximately 110 years old based on the stamp. Very lovely plate and very rare! This is a perfect addition for any collection and I have not seen another one with this design or of this age. Contact me with any questions. Thank you for looking.
