Description: Maker: This exquisite hand painted candy dish was purchased at an estate sale full of high-end porcelain and crystal. Marks and age: On the reverse is a blue Royal Rudolstadt Prussia "B" shield mark. This mark was used by Germany's Beyer & Bock, a porcelain decorating company in Volkstedt, Thuringia, from around 1905 until around 1920. Beyer & Bock operated between 1853 and 1960, when it was renamed Porcelain Factory Rudolstadt Volkstedt. Design: The gold-trimmed cloverleaf shaped candy dish features beautiful finely painted flowers against a background that fades from green to blue around a white center. Condition: It's in overall excellent condition with no marks, nicks, chips, cracks, scratches, stains, repairs or significant wear. The back has significant discoloration that is not visible when the dish is in use or on display - it's visible in the photos. Size: The candy dish is 7 1/4 inches wide at its widest point, 3/4 inch tall and weighs 7.6 ounces. It would make a gorgeous display on its own or as part of a collection of other beautiful objects. Please check all the photos very carefully - they are an important part of the description.
