A very scarce work, with only one copy held in libraries. Dated from this copy held by LSE. A brief and informative pamphlet on the nature of the financial crisis and how it was met in London. The financial crisis of 1914 was the European liquidation of American securities, the selloff of $3 billion of foreign portfolio investments. When Britain declared war on Germany, the global stock exchange was non-functional. It transformed the US from a debtor nation to a creditor nation for the first time.
