Undated; circa 1880. Colored by hand with watercolor paints. Mat size is 11" x 14" Image size is 6 3/8" x 9 1/8" A view of Kitay-gorod wall and a tower near the Nikolsky Gate in Lubyanka Square ; one of the famous entrances to Moscow's Red Square and the Kremlin. At the upper-center is the dome Vladimirskaya Church surmounted by a great cross. It was located just inside the gate; the church was demolished in the Soviet era and is gone forever. In the foreground are Russian people , wagon , carriage , cart , horses , etc. This woodcut is about 140+ years old. Nice Condition. Carefully Packed for Shipment to the Buyer
