You get a snug fit with no loss of signal due to improper or mismatched connections! When & Why Do I Need These Antenna Adapters? The SiriusXM FM Modulator uses standard "Motorola" type plugs for the input and output of the FM signal used by the device. Many vehicles no longer use the standard Motorola plug and instead use a proprietary type of plug.
