Description: Item will ship via UPS Ground I am the original owner and have had it serviced once in its life for the replacement of the Philips laser head. I used it very briefly years ago for component out DVD videos and the video is spectacular but never really used it for that purpose. This player sounds better than anything you can buy today under $1500. Comes with remote The most striking thing about this player is it's smooth sound but it doesn't "sound" smooth or sound like anything is missing, it just is. You still have a great deal of detail, but there is nothing artificial or irritating, it is a very organic sound. The other characteristic is dynamics. If you have the right system, the slam, definition and dynamic range will blow your socks off. This isn't a driving miss daisy sound machine. When you crank up the juice, this is your crazy uncle in his 900 HP Lamborghini doing donuts in intersections blocking traffic.
