Canon 85mm f1.9 Vintage Lens with R-A Focusing Adapter for Early Canonflex

Description: This is a Canon 85mm f1.9 Portrait Lens with R-A Focusing Adapter. This was a transitional item where Canon took a rangefinder lens front side and created a helical focusing adapter to mount on a Canonflex SLR. They only made these for a short time and are pretty scarce. From a local estate. Has some issues. Read details below before bidding. Cosmetics-Clean overall with some general wear. It would make a pretty nice display item in a collection. The focusing adapter has some paint loss in places and greenish tarnish on the rear mount ring. Operationally the aperture is very hard to move and takes some force. Some oil on the blades. The R-A focusing adapter moves smoothly otherwise. The optics internally have some dust, hazy lines, and lots of fine beginning fungus spots. The front element has a few cleaning scratches. It was in storage for many years. Would need a CLA and service. See lots of photos of what you are getting. Sold AS IS. Includes the lens, R-A adapter, Hoya sky filter, and front & rear caps seen above. The front cap has a few scratches and a side dent. Filter has some edge wear and pitting on the optic. See last photos above. Nothing else is included. Will be well packed for safe shipping.
