Description: These goalie pads were game used by Carey Price of the Montreal Canadiens during the 2012-13 NHL season. Photo-matched to many games including the 2013 playoffs. The set comes originally from a golf instructor in Kelowna, BC who helped Carey Price get better at golf. The instructor states that Price wanted to give him something for teaching him and brought him to his garage to pick a set of goalie gear, back then he had all his used sets in his garage lined up against walls, and the golf instructor picked the glove and blocker and the pads with chest protector because he liked Team Canada Colours (white and red only). The original collector cannot find history of Carey Price ever using the Bauer glove and blocker, so he assumes that the glove and blocker were originally sent to Carey to try out, but was not used by Price in-game due to contractual obligations with CCM. Both the pads and chest protector have the NHL approval markings and are photo-matched to Getty Images.
