Description: Fantastic piece of history. Military periscope, likely from the cold war and used to peer over the Berlin wall. Though, it's possible this is an earlier example. Highly decorative and excellent talking point, would look fantastic in a conservatory or even outside on a deck (it can live outside). Condition is good. The optics and focusing are all in good condition. No dents or scratches. There is some surface oxidation on the aluminum (which will polish up nicely) and the steel components. The tripod needs a new screw on the center strut (currently screwed into the aluminum leg, needs a fatter screw, but you may want to restore it differently, so not going to attempt to fix). Rare opportunity to own one of these unique pieces.
