Description: The Carver M-1.5 and M-4.0t amplifiers used two large Capacitors for the High 130V Voltage Rail. While these capacitors can still be purchased, the pricing, delivery times, and minimum order quantities are extremely prohibitive! This PCB solution provides a quick and easy way to replace these aging capacitors with newer, easily available, and much lower cost capacitors. You can use other brands, but you will want to check the lead spacing, lead diameter, and part diameter compared to the Nichicon parts for best results.
