Description: This is a Vintage W.R. Case & Sons CASE TESTED XX, with the long tailed C, 2-Blade Serpentine Pen Folding Pocket Knife with a beautiful set of bright multi-colored Christmas Tree glitter celluloid scales. Stamped on the front tang is CASE (with the long tail C (over) TESTED XX. This stamp was used from c.1920-1940. Though not stamped with the pattern number I believe this is a CT233 serpentine pen made by Case. The CT indicates the scales are multi-colored glitter celluloid. The 2 indicates a two bladed knife and the 33 is the pattern number which in this case means it’s a pen knife. On the other end of the frame is a used and sharpened carbon steel pen secondary blade with a common nail pull. Stamped on the front tang is CASE (with the long tail C)(over) TESTED XX. This stamp was used between c.1920-1940Both blades still have excellent snap on both open and close. The knife has a beautiful set of multi-colored green, red, gold and black “Christmas Tree” glitter celluloid scales and as bright as any set I've ever seen. T This nice old vintage W.R. Case & Sons CASE TESTED XX 2-Blade Serpentine Pen Folding Pocket Knife is 2 5/8” in length. Made between c.1920-1940 in Bradford, Pennsylvania.
