Using the traditional Huichol techniques of pressing Campeche wax onto this hand sculpted figurine and adding glass beads, one-by-one, this Day of the Dead Catrina groom depicts the offering message to the Huichol Gods. Dressed in a formal long tail tuxedo with pearl color glass beaded accents, this Catrin portrays a proud and elegant pose. His traditional style jacket has pearl color striped sleeves and on the front, a gold pearl color beaded tie is made with the candle symbol for lighting his way to the ceremony. Also, the Mother of the Corn symbol blesses him with the natural cycle and ability to reproduce and two half Peyote flowers are protected by the respected scorpion against evil spirits and bad luck.
